So fun to have developed a new passion at 60. I ran for a few years before 2011 and have started up again and LOVE it!
Jogging on the beach is so exhilarating… as my barefeet hit the sand I am taken back to a different lifetime – one of running for joy, feeling lighter, almost childlike and the thrill as my lungs breathe fresh air and my eyes shine for pure happy joy. In the past I only ran for exercise – having been told it was good for me so I forced myself to go to the gym or run on concrete near my home.
This is so different!
Being barefoot on sand is such a healthy process as the Earth’s electrical magnetic current can flow directly into our bodies and heal all kinds of things… and this is more than that. It is setting a goal to run a bit further each day, being consistent as long as it is fun (rained one day so of the past 5 so I took that day off) and enJOYing the time in nature.
This is so interesting – at my age I had never been told how much better running on the beach barefoot was – not even like exercise – feels more like a joyful experience of doing something special for myself!

I believe life leads us at the perfect time to the perfect places when we are ready to say “YES”!
In 2006, I started realizing a higher source was guiding me to places that I could never have dreamed about. I was in the process of becoming healthy, naturally (without drugs, surgery or dieting), after a lifetime of obesity, disease and medications. On this journey to radiant health, amazing people began to join me on journeys to some of the most exotic places on the planet.
As I was letting go of asthma, diabetes, depression, thyroid issues and knee pain (which often kept me homebound), and the weight with its physical constraints and the emotional disappointments of an ended marriage, my life began to shift.
An adventurous side of me began to evolve and lead me on a fascinating path. The experiences include sweat lodges in British Columbia, camping in the high desert in New Mexico, meditating in the sarcophagus inside the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid, spending hours excavating the Ravne Tunnels of the Bosnian Pyramids, hiking the Inca trails in Peru, scuba diving Deep Blue Holes in the Abaco Islands, jumping out of airplanes and off cliffs as well as swimming in the Amazon River tributaries and zip lining in the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest – all totally out of character for this city girl – AND I kept saying “YES.”
Fast forward to 2015: dozens of trips to exotic places including Plitvice Lakes National Park, the Amazon Jungle, Egyptian Pyramids, Machu Picchu, Tynwalds on Isle Of Man, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Sedona, Mayan Pyramids, Merlin’s Cave, Mt. Shasta, the Italian Rivera and the French Alps. This seemingly excessive travel was beyond my control and yet I still heard a calling and I still keep saying “YES!” The resources appeared out of nowhere and my calendar just opened up. Many of these trips were add-ons before or after a ‘self-improvement’ conference or educational event I was attending.
I have now released most of my worldly possessions and am currently living in Brazil, where I have a whole new understanding of our universe and how essential our spiritual practice is to our physical health.
Looking back, this passage from my former life into my present experience of freedom, adventure, self-acceptance, and all it encompasses, is beyond my own understanding: other than, it is simply my path. I have been told I was so “brave” to release most of my material goods and follow my dreams and to me it just makes sense. After longing to travel full time, I have moved into this new reality and am so grateful my dream is coming true…left with only the remaining possessions of a 5 x 5 storage unit of paperwork and photos in Dallas and my luggage with necessities to keep me comfortable on my journey. I have experienced so much happiness, so many little wonderfuls, and met so many totally awesome fellow travelers on my journey.
As I finally begin this blog with the intent to share the wonders of sacred sites, the experiences of synchronicity, the journey to radiant health and the blessings of living from the heart, I hope you will follow my journey, add your comments and suggestions and BE present with your own ability to create YOUR own reality.

She also worked with the head dining room chef and they prepared her Skinny Gazpacho Recipe to serve as part of the luncheon during one of her talks. Adele later received the Dallas International Corporate Office Women of AT&T 2013 RAVE Recognition Award for Value & Excellence Vendor of the Year Award.
Here is her delicious recipe for All Good Skinny Gazpacho
2 cups Campari Tomatoes
1 cup Cucumber, peeled (if desired) and cut in quarters
3/4 cup Roasted Red Pepper
1/3 cup Celery
1/ 4 cup Scallions or chives
3 tbsp. Cilantro
1 tbsp. Balsamic or Sherry Vinegar
1 tbsp. fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 tsp. Sea Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
1 avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped for garnish
In a blender, add tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper, celery, scallions, cilantro, vinegar,
lemon juice, salt and pepper. Blend until reaches desired consistency.
Chill, covered, in refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight to let flavors meld. Serve
with chopped avocado on top. Serves 4.
